The Midlands Sexual Health Service runs the free HSE GUM clinic for Westmeath out of Regional Hospital Mullingar. Full STI screening, HIV testing, hepatitis testing and treatment, partner notification, and contraception advice. Phone the switchboard for current clinic times and to book.
The same service also covers Longford, Laois and Offaly — patients from any of those counties can attend Mullingar, Tullamore or Portlaoise depending on which is nearest.
